In Class Project 7: process post

So far on my project, I have paper mached a shape for my sculpture. To work on the crochet part, I made forms out of news paper and made crochet pieces to fit around it. To make them stiff, I covered them in glue and left them on the forms. Now, I am working on covering the paper mache form with encaustic. The process that I have been using is spreading the encaustic on, not worrying about the smoothness and then going back through later with a heat gun to smooth it out. After I finish this part, I am going to polish the encaustic by rubbing it with a cloth and then I will attack the crochet pieces.
