In-Class Project 2: Progress Post 1

On the first few days of working on my project, I blocked out some of the basic shapes I wanted in light washes of ink. I did this using a large paint brush, which was helpful for getting consistent washes of ink and focusing on broader details. At first I was building up value gradually in a lot of areas at once, but on the most recent day of working, I chose an area and developed the whole spectrum of values to get a better sense of what everything else should look like. I also started adding lines with some solid black ink. One thing that I need to work on is the foreground because I don't think it quite makes sense perspective wise. Hopefully I should still be able to fix it with ink even though I have done the mid-ground already. I am slightly concerned about being able to finish as much as I want to in the next two days, but I'm pretty sure that if I stay efficient it will work out fine.
