Awareness: Tracey St. Peter

Tracey St. Peter is a Richmond based artist who was originally from Detroit, Michigan. She began as a painter focused mainly on oil painting but she currently creates sculptures and paintings with encaustic wax and paper maché.

• College for Creative Studies: Bachelor of Fine Arts- Graphic Design

• Eastern Michigan University: Master of Fine Arts- Painting and Sculpture

• European Cultural History Tour: a semester of study and tour of 13 countries with lectures in Literature, History, Political Science and Art.

• After graduating, she stayed in Michigan for a year and was a resident artist at the Broad Street Artists Collective

• Lived in Brooklyn, NY and had 4 solo shows there

• After moving to Richmond, VA she has also had multiple solo exhibitions
